§ 94-84. Weight limit.

(a)

All vehicles having a capacity of three or more tons, including single or towed vehicles or a combination thereof, and all vehicles with dual wheels are prohibited from the streets or parts of streets described in section 94-376.

(b)

The purpose and intent of this section is to prohibit any and all vehicular traffic from using the streets listed in section 94-376 except for four-wheel vehicles. The prohibition contained in this section includes all vehicles with more than four wheels.

(c)

The public works director is hereby directed to post and maintain appropriate signs where necessary and at both approaches to the streets or parts of streets on which motor vehicles, as described herein or having a capacity of three or more tons are prohibited, the signs to direct trucks and other motor vehicular traffic in accordance with this section.
