§ 94-6. Penalty.

  • (a)

    Unless this chapter shall otherwise provide, violation of any provision hereof shall be a misdemeanor punishable upon conviction in accordance with section 1-7. Except as otherwise provided in this chapter, each day any violation of this chapter shall continue shall constitute a separate and distinct offense.

    (b)

    It shall be unlawful for any resident motor vehicle to be operated on the streets of the town without displaying license plates, and any person violating the provisions of section 94-234 shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and may be fined or imprisoned as set forth in subsection (a) of this section.
