§ 86-9. Ball playing prohibited.

(a)

All persons are forbidden from playing any games in the streets, sidewalks, park area at Hope Mills Lake (area lying between the high water mark of the lake and the eastern margin of North Main Street) involving the throwing, kicking, batting, striking, or other activity with any type of ball or other spheroid designed for that purpose, and any other object designed to be thrown, including, but not limited to, round flat devices commonly known as Frisbees.

(b)

This section shall not apply to play streets.
