§ 86-10. Skating prohibited.

(a)

It shall be unlawful for any individual, child or adult to use skates on the public streets, sidewalks, bike paths or on town-owned property within the town limits at any time.

(b)

For the purposes of this section, the terms "skate" or "skates" include roller skates, coasters, skateboards or other similar devices.

(c)

Violation of this section shall be a misdemeanor punishable upon conviction by a fine or imprisonment as set out in section 1-7.

(d)

Where any minor child is convicted of violating this section, the parents or guardian of that child shall be held responsible for the fine.
