§ 18-24. Application to do business.

All persons engaging in business within the town shall submit a form indicating the name, location, and the general nature of their business. Such forms will be made available upon request from the town clerk's office. As part of the submission of this form, persons will be responsible for payment of the business registration fee for each outlet, branch, location, or place of business prior to engaging in business. The application shall be submitted to the town clerk. There will be a three month grace period from the date the ordinance from which this article is derived is adopted for currently operating businesses to submit the form and pay the business registration fee.
