§ 10-136. Issuance of records.

(a)

The rabies vaccination tag shall constitute the privilege license tag for all dogs and cats registered for the privilege license and for which the privilege license fee has been paid. The tag shall be of durable material and shall be designed to be easily fastened or riveted to the animal's collar or harness. The tag number shall be registered with the animal control department.

(b)

The animal control department shall maintain records of licensed dogs and cats and such records shall be open to public inspection.
