Each owner may, within 72 hours of the time when the notice was attached to the vehicle, pay to the town as a penalty for and in full satisfaction of the violation, the currently required fine for each hour or fraction thereof, during which the vehicle occupied the parking space in violation of any of the provisions of this division.
