§ 6-2. Consumption in public places; disposal of containers.

  • (a)

    It shall be unlawful for any person to consume malt beverages or unfortified wine in any public place or upon or in any public street, sidewalk, alley, or parking lot owned, leased, or maintained by the town and within the town limits.

    (b)

    It shall be unlawful for any person to drop, throw, cast, or deposit any intoxicating liquor beverage container in any public place other than a bona fide trash disposal site or utensil, or upon any public street, sidewalk, alley, or parking lot, or upon the private premises of another without permission of the owner or person entitled to possession of those premises.

    (c)

    It shall be unlawful for any person to consume any malt beverages or unfortified wine in or upon a motor vehicle or motorized bicycle which is in or upon any public place or in or upon any street, sidewalk, alley, or parking lot owned, leased, or maintained by the town.
