§ 58-54. Interference with town officials and employees.

(a)

It shall be unlawful for any person to resist or interfere with, directly or indirectly, by threats or otherwise, any municipal official or employee when the official or employee is discharging or attempting to discharge his lawful duty.

(b)

By way of illustration and not limitation, subsection (a) of this section is intended to apply to resistance or interference through the use of threats, weapons, objects, animals, the erection of physical barriers, or otherwise.
