§ 102-59. Form of certificate.

The form of the certificate of public convenience and necessity under this article shall be as follows:

FRANCHISE TO OPERATE TAXICABS

___________, having duly applied for a certificate of convenience and necessity for the operation of _____ taxicab(s) in the Town of Hope Mills, North Carolina, in accordance with the taxi ordinance, and the application having been duly and publicly heard by the Board of Commissioners, after notice thereof had been duly given, and it appearing to the Board of Commissioners from the proof that the public convenience and necessity requires the operation of said _____ taxicab(s) in the municipality, that the applicant is a fit and proper person for the operation thereof, and that the applicant has complied with the aforesaid ordinance in all respects:

IT IS, THEREFORE, ORDERED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE TOWN OF HOPE MILLS that a certificate of convenience and necessity is hereby issued to the above-named applicant for the operation of _____ taxicab(s), described in the application, within the Town of Hope Mills, from and after the date hereof to and including 31 December next following.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the Town of Hope Mills has caused this franchise to be executed in its name by its Mayor, attested by its Clerk, and its corporate seal hereto affixed, on this ___ day of _____, _____.
